FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) April 18, 2011 -- Ford Ranks Highest in Owner Loyalty
Brand loyalty for the automotive industry as a whole was
up 2.1 percent for the year, but Ford’s loyalty rate increased by 4.5 percentage
points. The 2011 Ford lineup should allow the manufacturer to continue this
trend. The new Ford models offer industry leading fuel efficiency, best-in-class
power and capability, cutting edge technology and other impressive features that
new car drivers demand.
A recent analysis of 2010
automotive customer loyalty rates conducted by Polk, a leader in automotive data
and marketing solutions, shows Ford Motor Company is the industry leader in
customer loyalty. Ford had a 60.3 percent owner loyalty rate in 2010, higher
than both General Motors and Toyota. The loyalty rates are determined by
analysis of households that own a new vehicle and return to the market to
purchase or lease another new vehicle made by the same manufacturer.
